Runtu - Russian distro Linux, based on Ubuntu, uses the GNOME desktop environment and applications on the GTK +2. There are also building a more lightweight desktop environment LXDE and Openbox. The idea Runtu - simplicity and ease of Ubuntu, combined with high-quality Russian localization and a set of necessary software, ready to use immediately after installation. Distribution uses the Ubuntu repositories and Launchpad PPA.
